[FAQ]

A few questions worth reading before you begin.

The most common questions around fit, process, licensing, and support — so you can see the full picture before moving forward.

01 / 08

Do I need musical knowledge to commission a piece?

No. You do not need to know music theory or arrive with technical vocabulary. What matters more is what you want the piece to carry — the feeling, the relationship, the moment, the atmosphere. If you can describe a direction, we can begin from your story.

02 / 08

How do I get started?

Submit an application so we can understand your story, intended use, direction, and expectations. Once we receive it, we will read through and align before deciding whether to take it on and how to proceed. The point of this step is not to place an order immediately — it is to get the direction clear first.

03 / 08

How long does it usually take?

The timeline depends on the complexity of the project, the depth of communication required, the intended use, and the delivery requirements. We will not give you a fixed timeline before we understand the project — one that looks clear but may not be accurate. Once a project enters formal collaboration, we will provide a clearer arrangement based on the actual scope.

04 / 08

What does a commission include? Can I request revisions?

A standard delivery covers the completed work files and any necessary deliverables related to the piece. Revisions are generally limited to reasonable adjustments within the same creative direction — they do not include a full redo or a significant style rewrite. The specific scope is governed by the final agreed terms of collaboration.

05 / 08

Can I use the music on YouTube, Instagram, or commercial content?

Yes,

but whether it applies depends on whether you are using Library Music or a Custom Song, and the nature of your intended use.

General content creation, self-media, and some commercial uses can be accommodated — but different types of music and projects carry different licensing boundaries.

The formal scope is governed by the License or Custom Service Terms.

06 / 08

Can I resell, sublicense, or redistribute the music?

Generally, no.

Unless separately authorised in writing,

purchased or commissioned works may not be resold, rented, sublicensed, redistributed, or packaged as material available for third-party reuse.

This applies to both Library Music and Custom Songs.

07 / 08

Can I get a refund?

Generally, digital products are non-refundable once delivered and/or downloaded.

If the issue is a verifiable technical fault

— such as a missing file, an expired link, or a corrupted download — we will assist with redelivery or basic technical support within reasonable scope.

The formal policy is governed by the Terms & Conditions.
