This song began as a test. We were building this website, and we wanted to make sure that once a custom-song form was submitted, the automation behind it actually worked. So we asked Cami to help — just fill it in casually, that's all. She could have thrown down a few throwaway words. But she didn't. She sat down and wrote what was really on her heart.

A Test, and Yet It Caught Something Real

The form was built for one purpose: to turn a person's story into a song of their own. And the very first story it caught was the one Cami wrote, unguarded, during a test: "Believe in yourself first. To doubt yourself is to doubt the universe; to reject yourself is to reject the gift the universe is holding out to you. And when you truly trust yourself, abundance finds its way in." We read it, and read it again, and felt it shouldn't stay just a test. So we followed what she wrote, and set that feeling to a melody. That became "Believe in Yourself, That's Where It Begins."

The Words She Wrote Became the Chorus

What's even more striking: the motto Cami jotted down — "every choice is the universe expressing itself through me" — grew, almost untouched, into the chorus line "every choice is no accident; each one an echo the universe wrote upon me." This song is for the you who keeps waiting for someone else to nod, waiting for a "you're allowed." That door was never for the world to open. It opens the moment you're willing to believe in yourself first. You don't need anyone's permission, you don't need to become better first. Hold yourself first, then open your heart.
