Teaching someone to become themselves sounds simple enough. Stand on your own feet, dare to think, dare to act — I heard those words many times, and I believed them, truly. It was only later that I understood: the same sentence can carry an entirely different weight, depending on the moment it's said in. "The Real Feedback" starts from that gap.

When something needed saying, it could be said directly, any time. The plainness of it felt rare, almost generous. So I did exactly that — I started walking my own path, no longer needing approval for every step.
You said if you mean it, you do it —don't just think about daring.

Why Does One Sentence Need to Take the Long Way Round?
It was only once I stopped paying, stopped following the old way, that things began to change. What could once be said to my face now had to travel through someone else's mouth first. Rank, status, distance — things that were never there before — suddenly appeared.
You taught me to break free of every limit —and in the end, that last one,turned out to still be you.

A Question I Had to Ask Myself
Writing this song, I had to ask myself something: had I ever tied "being taught" too tightly to "being approved of"? Was it because I once believed so genuinely that the gap, when it finally showed, cut so sharp?
What I came to understand is that this was never about proving who was right. It's a very specific contradiction, honestly recorded: when someone teaches you independence, and then changes how they treat you the moment you actually become independent — that gap, on its own, deserves to be seen.
Where It Lands
Growth Doesn't Need Proof of Continued Loyalty
If someone's teaching was ever real, then the day you no longer need them should be the outcome, not a betrayal. What should actually remain isn't dependence on any one person — it's that they can finally walk their own road, on their own feet.
If growth, in the end,still has to answer for no longer depending on you —then what you spent all that time teaching me,was it really freedom,or loyalty?
